Lukashenko about war of Ukraine and Russia: CSTO will not work out

All members of the organization of the collective security agreement need to rally and act together, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting with the Secretary General of the CSTO Imangali Tasmagambetov.

“Especially on the borders of the CSTO member states. I’m not talking about your experience. Your memory is beautiful. You know both the Caucasus and the Central Asia. We have problems there,” Lukashenko quoted the Belarusian media.

In his opinion, all members of the organization must take joint actions. “If someone thinks that the conflict of Ukraine and Russia is not our conflict, that we will sit out quietly somewhere – nothing like that, there will be no one. The time will come (it is not far, literally tomorrow) – it will require determining, occupying a certain position “,” Lukashenko said, indicating that it was necessary to take into account the allied nature of relations in the CSTO, so it is necessary to decide on his policy in order to act jointly.
