Magate will leave permanent representatives at Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant

The International Atomic Energy Agency will leave two permanent inspectors at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. This was stated by a regular representative of Russia at international organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov, Russian media write.

“Two people will remain on the ZAES on an ongoing basis. We welcome this, since the international presence is designed to dispel numerous speculations regarding the situation on the ZAES,” said Mikhail Ulyanov, commenting on the situation.

He noted that experts will perform technical tasks. The international organization will evaluate the safety of a nuclear facility, as well as conduct an inventory of nuclear material, which is located at the station.
