Mehman Aliyev is convinced: United States and Russia reached consensus in Armenian-Azerbaijan settlement

The meeting of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Brussels and Moscow will be held in the framework of the general consensus between the United States, the EU and Russia to resolve the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. This was told by Haqqin.az Political analyst, head of the information agency “Turan” Mehman Aliyev.

According to him, at a meeting on December 15 in Brussels, the issues of the interaction of Ilham Aliyev and Nikola Pashinyan will be discussed to solve problems on the way of signing a large peace agreement. And the trilateral meeting of the Presidents of the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan and Armenia on November 26 in Sochi, will be technical in nature, where issues of delicty and demarcation of borders, opening communications, security in the Karabakh conflict zone and maintain stability at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border will be discussed.

Moscow stated that demarcation will be held on the cards of the General Staff of Russia and the Armenian-Azerbaijani-Russian Tripartite Working Group already operates in this direction, the political analyst said.

M.Aliev is convinced that between the USA, the EU and the Russian Federation there is no competition in this settlement, but there is interaction. All three sides are OSCE MG co-chairs. Today we see that global players came to consensus in the resolution of a 30-year conflict. The essence of the consensus is that the USA, the EU and Russia within the framework of the OSCE MG denote the general key areas of settlement, and Moscow will translate the general vision of the settlement into a practical plane. The general vision of the settlement and its implementation is carried out in Brussels and Moscow. Figuratively speaking in Brussels, delimitation is carried out, and in Moscow, the demarcation of the conflict, he said.
