The program financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Union (EU) and the Ministry of Finance and the Treasury of Turkey has successfully completed. The program aimed at improving the stability of the local financial system and stimulating lending to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises was also attended by LLC Muganbank.
The first direction of the program was focused on strengthening strategy and business planning, risk management, information technology and solving problem loans.
The second direction was aimed at expanding access to financing MMSP by developing credit operations for individual banks, marketing strategies, training personnel and creating monitoring and recovery units.
The head of the EBRD representative office in Azerbaijan Kamola Makhmudov, speaking at an event dedicated to the closure of the project, noted the successful completion of the program for supporting the potential of financial institutions of Azerbaijan.
In addition, for the successful accounting of the technical cooperation program to strengthen the potential of financial instruments of Azerbaijan, the chairman of the board of Muganbank LLC Elnur Abbasov, General Director of Asif Azizov, Director of the Department of Business Processes Novruz Gojaly, Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technologies Vadim Grechnev and the Department of Information Technology and Elman Eminov, chief specialist of the credit monitoring and project financing department, were awarded certificates.
