NATO will not send troops to Ukraine, but will help

NATO is responsible for ensuring that the war has not beyond the limits of Ukraine, NATO Secretary of Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels said. It is reported by the Russian BBC service.

According to Stoltenberg, the leaders of NATO countries will have to coordinate the decision to send four major alliance combat groups to Eastern Europe – to Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania. He noted that this will be part of a plan for a significant long-term increase in the presence of NATO in the region – the current number of combat groups will double.

At the same time, the NATO Secretary General again stressed that the Alliance will not introduce troops to Ukraine:” It is extremely important to support Ukraine, and we will not remain aside. But at the same time, it is extremely important that this conflict does not turn into a full-fledged war between NATO and Russia. “

Stoltenberg also warned Russia that in the case of a nuclear war, the winner will not be and should not be untied under any circumstances.
