Pakistan Prime Minister called on India “not to use terrorism for diplomatic purposes”

Terrorism should not be used as a means to obtain diplomatic benefits. This was stated by Pakistan Prime Minister Shakhbaz Sharif, speaking at the summit of the Council of Heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) under the chairmanship of India.

making a message to India, the head of the Pakistani government noted that the use of terrorism should be avoided as a means to obtain diplomatic benefits. “Terrorist activity is one of the most serious obstacles to the world in the region. It is necessary to fight terrorism and extremism, regardless of whether they are committed by individuals, communities or states,” Sharif said.

The prime minister also indicated the importance of preventing the demonization of religious minorities for regional political purposes.

“SCO countries should take joint and urgent measures regarding terrorism, extremism and separatism, and this should become a responsibility for all its members,” Sharif, drawing attention to the victims of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.

According to him, it is crucial for achieving a “common goal” is also of stability in Afghanistan. At the same time, the Pakistani Prime Minister noted the fall in the interest of the world community in this country.

Sharif called on the international community to constructive interaction with Afghanistan. The temporary Afghan government must also take specific measures to ensure that its territory is not used for terrorist purposes, the prime minister added.
