President of Germany had to hide in bomb shelter during a visit to Ukraine

Germany President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who arrived in Ukraine for the first time after the start of the war, spent an hour and a half in the bomb shelter, foreign media reported.

During the Steinmeier’s visit to the city of Koryukovka, Chernihiv region, anxiety was anxious. He was forced to go down to the bomb shelter, like other residents. The conversation with the civilian population had to continue in the basement, notes Spiegel.

Steinmeier must return to Kyiv to meet with President Vladimir Zelensky.
