Presidential special representative explained plan for restoration of Karabakh

Azerbaijan’s government has a common plan of Karabakh, there is a clear vision of how to act, said the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh economic district, Emin Huseynov in an interview with the Russian media.

The most important stage of planning throughout the Karabakh economic region we have already overcome. We have in our hands the general plan of Karabakh, on the basis of which the general planes of individual cities were developed. We have been building our cities and villages from scratch, which were completely destroyed, and are faced with great difficulties. Nevertheless, we have a clear vision how we will act. Further according to the plan, cleaning the territories from mines, this is the main barrier on the path of returning life in Karabakh.

Our sappers have to act manually. Maps transferred by Armenia under the pressure of the international community are inaccurate and therefore notorious. We do not have actual information about a specific location of Min, so we have to check everything, clean and recall many times. The situation is aggravated by the fact that after a 44-day war, the Armenians continued to lay new mines. Now 13% of the lands of the Karabakh economic region have already been cleared. In the Agdam district – somewhere around 23%.

The following stages are the development of the basic infrastructure, which includes the construction of roads, the conduct of power lines, gas supply to the population, as well as the creation of socio -economic infrastructure.

Now there is an active work on the restoration of 20 houses in the village of Talysh of the Tersky district. It will be followed by the village of Sugovushan, and next month we plan to start work in the village of Gadut and the village of Tug. Until the end of next year, a residential array in the city of Fizuli should be ready according to the plans. I think that since 2024 we will be able to relocate new residents there. And by the end of 2024 – mid -2025, two residential arrays in Agdam will be ready, life will also return to three villages of this region. As they recover, other settlements will also be able to accept our citizens. The most difficult thing is behind. People in the field see the scale of construction and intensity of work, ”Huseynov said.
