The promotion of Russian troops in Bakhmut is with great difficulty, since the Armed Forces of Ukraine created many defense lines in the city. This was stated by the founder of PMC “Wagner” Evgeny Prigozhin.
According to Evgeny Prigozhin, due to the strong defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the promotion of the RF Armed Forces in Bakhmut is not easy. “Artemovsk (Bakhmut since 2016) is a fortress in every house. For each house, the guys are fighting, sometimes not one day. Sometimes for weeks in one house,” the Russian media reports Prigozhin.
He noted that after taking the next house, it is not worth saying that the Ukrainian defense was broken. The founder of “Wagner” suggested that in Bakhmut there are about 500 line of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
