Prime Minister of Ukraine allowed a drop in GDP by 50%

“According to the government, only in 2022 the GDP can fall by 30-50%.” Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said this in the column for The Economist.

According to him, in the first six weeks of the war, the total damage to the economy of Ukraine exceeded $ 500 billion.

“According to the government, in the long run, this figure can increase to 1 trillion dollars, or five times more than last year’s GDP,” he said.
