Reporter group Haqqin.az hardly managed to enter Moldova: Chisinau in anticipation of saboteurs

Haqqin.az correspondent group, as part of journalists, Eyulla Fatullaev and Idris Heydareli, faced the problem when entering Moldova.

Journalists were questioned by the airport security service in Istanbul about the goals of visiting Chisinau. Planting on the flight was allowed only after journalistic certificates were presented and the goals of visiting Chisinau were described in detail, including preparation of reports about the situation around Moldova. At the same time, journalists were warned of the upcoming interrogation at Chisinau airport and the problem of visiting this country.

Arriving at Chisinau Airport, Police and Border Services, who had been asking for a visit to Chisinau, approached Eyulla Fatullaev and Idris Heydareli.

“At first glance, such a close interest from the power structures seemed extremely strange. But given the latest ultimate statements to the Moldovan authorities, the threat of intervention, which hung over this country and the possibility of staging internal cataclysms in this country, is so careful control, nevertheless It lends itself to a logical explanation. I think that the Moldova authorities are concerned about the repetition of the “Ukrainian script” with the preliminary placement of saboteurs in Chisiev. Literally every entering passenger is subjected to thorough filtration. ” – said Eyulla Fatullaev, commenting on the situation that arose.

Eyulla Fatullaev noted that he managed to enter Moldova only thanks to the personal authority and influence of Azerbaijan’s ambassador Gudsi Osmanov, who provided his personal guarantees to the Moldavian security forces.

“We were called to maintain vigilance and be careful during our stay in Chisinau. Apparently the Moldovan authorities received information about some threats. I do not see other reasons for other strict control,” said the journalist.
