Russia: official results of presidential election

The current President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin scored 87.28% of the vote. Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Ella Pamfilova at a special meeting of the commission voiced the official results of voting in the elections of the President of Russia.

“On the total voting results, 76 million 277 thousand 708 voters voted for Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, that is, the result was the same – 87.28% of the number of voters who took part in the vote,” said Pamfilova, whose words are given Russian media.

According to her, 3 million 768 thousand 470 voters, 4.31% voted for Nikolai Kharitonov, for Vladislav Davankov – 3 million 362 thousand 484 people, 3.85% and for Leonid Slutsky – 2 million 797 thousand. 629 people, 3.2%.

“It was established that the final turnout in the elections of the President of the Russian Federation amounted to 77.49% of the number of voters included in the lists. 87,576,075 voters took part in absolute terms in the elections. There was no similar indicator in the history of modern Russia”, – noted Pamfilova.

Presidential elections in Russia were held on March 15-17.
