The so -called “acting governor of the Kherson region” Vladimir Saldo announced an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to land landing on the left bank of the Dnieper near the village of Cossack camps in the Kherson region.
According to him, the incident took place on the night of August 8.
“Dnepr troops, the military groups destroyed the boats while trying to moor, the militants were in them in the water. Some tried to swim to return to the right bank, but no one has sailed under dense artillery and rifle fire,” Saldo wrote in his Telegram -channel.
He noted that the left bank of the Dnieper is “under the protection of the Russian troops.” “Everyone who tries to land will be destroyed,” Saldo threatened.
The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on this incident.
