Six deputies left ranks of ruling “Georgian Dream”

Several deputies of the Georgian parliament from the Georgian Dreams decided to leave the ranks of the ruling party. According to Sputnik Georgia, the ruling party left Georgy Khodjewanishvili, Mikhail Daushvili, Bek Liluashvili, Ana Bchuchukuri, Alexander Mercalelia and Shalva Keremeselidze.

According to Georgy Khodjowanishvili, it’s no secret that the deputies who declared their care from the “Georgian Dream” are members of the Ex-Prime Minister Georgy Gahariya team.

“From today, together with George Gaharia, we go to a new stage in the construction of the party, we leave the” Georgian dream “and will continue to work in parliament as independent deputies,” said Khodzhevanishvili, stressing that the parliamentarians who left the ruling party remain in the legislative body as independent deputies.

Georgy Gakhariya resigned from the post of premiere on February 18 of this year. The reason for the resignation, he called disagreements with the ruling party on the arrest of Nickie Melia – the leader of the main opposition party “Unified National Movement”.
