Street in front of Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington was renamed in honor of Gemal Hashkhaji

Street Before the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington will be renamed in honor of Saudi journalist Jamaal Hashkhaji, killed in 2018 at the Kingdom Consulate in Istanbul.

The corresponding decision was unanimously accepted by the city council of Washington. From now on, New Hampshire Avenue will be called the title of Jemal Hashkadzhi Road.

The famous Saudi journalist Jemal Hashkhaji, who actively collaborated with Washington Post, was killed on October 2, 2018 on the territory of the Consulate of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul. Initially, the kingdom rejected accusations, but then it was forced to admit that this is a planned murder.
