The commander of the Russian troops in Ukraine Sergey Surovikin in an interview with the Russian media said that the Ukrainian army was striving to break through the defense of Russians.
“In general, the situation in the zone of special military operation can be described as intense,” Surovikin said.
According to him, Russia does not strive for a quick pace of “special operation”, wanting to preserve the lives of military personnel. On the contact line, defensive structures are being built. The daily losses of Ukraine are hundreds of killed and wounded, says the Russian military.
