That Sweden promised Turkey to join NATO

Sweden took “specific actions” in order to remove Turkey’s objections to the country’s entry into NATO. The kingdom sent a letter to the Turkish Foreign Ministry and Turkish President Recep Tayyp Erdogan, where 14 measures are listed, Reuters reports.

It is reported that a meeting was held between the Swedish and Turkish security forces and “a new analysis of the role of RPK in the threats of the national security of Sweden and organized crime was carried out, this will probably lead to specific results”.

Sweden intensified work against the Kurdistan working party. Stockholm promised to consider all Turkish requests for extradition suspects in terrorism.

Sweden is ready to issue citizens of other states, but Swedish citizens will not be extradited, this was especially emphasized by the Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Morgan Johansson. The authorities hope that when fulfilling all 14 measures, Turkey will approve the country’s application to join NATO.
