Ankara may go to a separate consideration of applications of Finland and Sweden to join NATO.
This was announced at a press conference in Ankara by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu.
“We are not against the expansion of NATO. And there are no fundamental objections against Finland or Sweden on our part, but they need to take into account our concern. Yes, we think about the option of considering their applications separately. And our president said that in relation to Sweden, Turkey may be a different position, ”said the Foreign Minister.
