Turkey is waiting for specific actions from Sweden and Finland

Turkey is still waiting for Sweden and Finland to take specific steps to fulfill the requirements of Ankara, the official representative of the Turkish President Ibrahim Kalyn said on Saturday.

“NATO is an organization of security. This is not [free] choice, but the need for those who will become a new member to observe the principles. They must take specific steps to solve our safety problems,” REDSEPA TAIIP ERDOGAN CENTER quoted by the representatives of REDZEP Habertürk.

According to Kalyn, Turkey is considering the possibility of continuing a dialogue with Sweden and Finland for their possible accession to NATO.
