Turkish oil company Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortaklığı (TPAO) is recognized as the best geological exploration company of 2021 according to the Norwegian consulting company Rystad Energy, an agency “Anadolu”.
In the field of oil and gas exploration, the Turkish company managed to get ahead of such giants like ExxonMobil, Eni and Hess.
It is also noted that the opening of Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortaklığı is a new field of natural gas in the Homasra-1 well in the Black Sea, the volume of which is 135 billion cubic meters, has become the third largest in the world.
In addition, the opening of a company of 405 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2020 was registered as the largest opening of the natural gas field in the seas that year and the second largest opening in the sea and on land in aggregate.
