President of the Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, being a working visit to the Balkan velaya (area) of the country, got acquainted with the new military aircraft received by the army and made a flight on one of them.
According to Interfax, having taken to a special suit, in full equipment of the Military pilot Berdimuhamedov, took the place behind the helm of the new light attack aircraft 29-Super Tucano, designed to solve the tasks of aviation support for land divisions.
In the course of the flight, the Turkmen leader has repeatedly reported to Earth and gestures showed accompanying his aircraft, which was satisfied with the technical capabilities and the state of the combat vehicle.
According to foreign media reports, the A-29A light attack aircraft SUPER TUCANO was developed by the Brazilian company “Embraer” on the basis of the training aircraft EME-314. This combat vehicle is designed to protect the airspace, intelligence, support the actions of the ground forces, and also necessary for training military pilots.
