According to Kasinform, the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev met a colleague in the Akorda residence. By tradition, in honor of the visit of a high guest, an honorary guard was built in the hall of ceremonies.
The Presidential Orchestra performed the state hymns of the two countries. Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev and Frank-Walter Steinmeier walked along the carpet to the state flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan, after which the meeting of the heads of two states in a narrow composition began.
It was previously reported that Germany President Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrived in Kazakhstan with a state visit. At the Astana Airport, a high guest was met by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.
, within the framework of the visit of the head of the two states, will hold negotiations on strengthening the Kazakh-German strategic partnership, following which it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents.
It is expected that the President of Germany will perform at the forum of rector of Kazakhstan and German universities, as well as together with the President of Kazakhstan will take part in the work of the Kazakh-German business forum.
As part of the Frank-Walter Steinmeier visit, the Mangistau region will also visit the opening of the Kazakh-German Institute of Engineering and in the trial ceremony at the plant for the production of green hydrogen Swedish-German company Svevind.
