Chavushoglu: 11 thousand rescuers participated in analysis of blockages in Turkey

Rescuers from 88 countries took a direct part in the analysis of the rubble after destructive earthquakes in Turkey.

This was announced by the Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu at a briefing in Gaziantep, who broadcast the TRT channel.

“In total, we were offered the help of 102 countries. Representatives of rescue services 88 of them participated directly in search and rescue operations in our country. Groups of specialists from 23 countries completed their missions and returned to their homeland. The rest continue to work in Turkey”, he said.

Chavushoglu added that more than 11 thousand foreign rescuers arrived in the republic, 5.3 thousand of which are still engaged in the analysis of rubble. In addition, Turkey received 75 thousand tents from abroad for the temporary placement of victims.
