Chubais was treated with a poisonous chemical substance?

The version of the sudden illness of Anatoly Chubais, former adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin and ex-head of the Rusnano Corporation, who left the country after the outbreak of war in Ukraine, is in doubt. This conclusion was reached by New York Post.

The newspaper writes: “Taking into account the“ sudden illness ”of Alexei Navalny and other oppositionists, who, as it turned out later, were poisoned, it is not ruled out that Chubais“ treated ”the“ poisonous chemical ”.

On the eve of the Russian TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak reported the sudden illness of Anatoly Chubais and his premises in one of the European clinics, referring to the wife of a politician. According to the initial diagnosis, Chubais revealed the syndrome of Guine-Barre. This is a rare disease that violates the functioning of the nervous system, the movement of the upper and lower extremities. It, however, is not fatal, and all those infected with them recover. But, according to Sobchak, specialists in the costumes of chemical protection entered the room where Chubais suddenly became ill. This suggests that the version of the poisoning of a cursory ex-official is not excluded. Sobchak did not specify in which country Chubais became ill and where he was hospitalized.

Italyan media report that according to some rumors, Chubais was on vacation on Costa-Smeralda and now in serious condition.

The coast of Costa-Smeralda is located 55 kilometers from the sandy coast of Sardinia at the most northeastern point of the island. Here are the famous resorts of Porto-Chervo, Porto Rotondo, Baya Sardinia and several others, smaller ones. The resorts of Costa -Smeralda – translated into Russian “Emerald Coast” – are famous for their developed infrastructure and amazing beauty.

At the end of April, the Russian government agency TASS noted that Chubais settled in Italy, in particular in Tuscany and Sardinia, where he has real estate. In recent days, he had to arrive in Sardinia, so it is believed that they were hospitalized there.

Chubais was considered a very close person of Vladimir Putin – until March last year, when he left his country about a month after the outbreak of war in Ukraine. Chubais resigned from the post of plenipotentiary representative of Putin on stable development without explanation.

Many observers suggest that this may be a manifestation of the most loud protest in the Kremlin against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Bloomberg wrote that Chubais expressed his disagreement with the actions of Moscow after his departure.

67-year-old Chubais is well known in Russia. He has held high posts since the beginning of the 1990s, when he led the privatization of President Boris Yeltsin. According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, Chubais could poison. Kira Yarmysh, spokeswoman for the anti-corruption activist Alexei Navalny, wrote on Twitter the following: “This is the Kremlin’s reputation: no one particularly doubts that Chubais was poisoned.”
