President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on June 17 signed a decree on determining the authority for the Protocol for the Framework Convention on Cooperation, Response Measures and Regional Training in Combating Oil Pollution Cases on the Protection of the Coastal Sea Environment of the Caspian Sea. “
According to the order, the authority by Azerbaijan on the basis of the above Protocol, signed on August 12, 2011 in the city of Aktau, established the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan is entrusted to send a notice to the Secretariat of this Convention on the definition of the authority from Azerbaijan for this Protocol.
Order comes into force from the date of signing.
