Ilham Aliyev told Erdogan about Brussels breakthrough

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today, the press service of the head of the Azerbaijani state.

According to the report, Ilham Aliyev told Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the negotiations held on the eve of Brussels with the chairman of the European Council and Prime Minister of Armenia. President Ilham Aliyev noted issues related to the preparation of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia, in particular, presented by Azerbaijan five principles based on international law, the normalization of relations between the two countries, the discovery of transport corridors, the division of borders.

The President of Azerbaijan has positively appreciated the results of a tripartite meeting in Brussels.

The head of the Azerbaijani state also noted that today he signed an order on the creation of the State Commission on Delimitation of the State Border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

President Ilham Aliyev also noted that the parties reached consent on the opening of the Zangesur corridor, including laying both railways and roads.
