The game program will cover 13 Polish cities, including in Malaya Poland (Polish. Małopolska) – a historical region in the southeast and southern modern Poland.
European games are organized once every four years.
The first European games in history were held in 2015 in the capital of Azerbaijan, the city of Baku.
II European Games held in 2019 in the capital of Belarus, Minsk.
more than 7 thousand athletes from 48 European countries will take part in Poland.
On Tuesday, June 20, athletics and beach handball competitions will be organized.
The opening ceremony of the Eurogre will be held at the Henrik Rayman city stadium in Krakow. Start at 21.30 in Turkish time.
The program includes concert performances and various visual shows.
Closing the game will be held on July 2 at the same stadium.
Turkey is presented at the games in Poland with a record number of athletes: 193 people (103 athletes and 90 athletes). This is much more than in 2015 and 2019. Turkish athletes will take part in competitions in 19 categories.
III European Games – a chance to get quotas for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in 10 directions. Break Dance competitions, which will be first presented at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, are also included in the European Games program.
