Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Co-Chairman of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation Between Governments of Azerbaijan and Montenegro Sakhil Babayev met with the new head of the diplomatic representation of Montenegro in Azerbaijan Milita Buric.
The press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population reported that Sakhil Babaev noted the constantly developing relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro, based on the political dialogue of the high level and friendly relations. The minister stressed that the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Montenegro in 2021 increased 3.75 times compared with 2020.
Sakhil Babayev spoke about socio-economic achievements in Azerbaijan, recent reforms in the field of labor, employment and social protection. Noting that there are good prospects for the development of bilateral relations, Babayev stressed the importance of creating a joint commission on economic cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Montenegro.
Milica Buric, in turn, expressed satisfaction with expanding cooperation between its country and Azerbaijan on the basis of friendship, noting that he constantly makes efforts to contribute to the expansion of bilateral interaction.
The parties also exchanged views on the current cooperation of the two countries and the further development of these relations.
