Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin called on the inhabitants of Ukraine to not rush to throw textbooks on the Russian language so that he would not have to look for them later.
“In the Odessa region, textbooks of the Russian language and literature were seized, and all Russian writers were removed from the educational program. In Nikolaev’s – they banned the Russian language in schools. Residents of Ukraine should not be in a hurry to throw away textbooks on the Russian language. Postpone, let them lie down until September 1 So that you don’t have to look for them later, ”Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel on Saturday.
As the speaker of the Duma emphasized, the restoration of the rights and freedoms of citizens who want to speak Russian, as well as to study it, is one of the tasks of the “special military operation”. Volodin considers it right to “bring to justice Ukrainian officials for violating human rights”.
