According to Lemir, officials are currently consulting with representatives of the Republican Party, which has gained control over the House of Representatives. He notes that the party has no unity regarding the provision of assistance to Kyiv. The White House believes that Europe will also face difficulties in supporting Ukraine due to the energy crisis, fears of recession and influx of Ukrainian refugees.
