Ankara, Riyadh and Islamabad discussed defense cooperation

The first meeting of the Tripartite Committee for Defense of Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan was held in Riyad.

This was reported on Thursday in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of National Defense of Turkey Jalal Tulfowje himself, the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia Talal Bin Abdulla Bin Turki al-Utei and the general of the Armed Forces of Pakistan Muhammad Said.

The meeting was held as part of steps to strengthen cooperation in the defense sphere between the three countries.

After the meeting, the participants held meetings of bilateral special working groups.

At the meeting of the working group, Saudi Arabia-Turkey discussed the road map of cooperation in the field of defense industry, transfer and nationalization of technologies, and the development of scientific research.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Office of the Defense Industry of Turkey Haluk Görgun.
