In order to support the elimination of the consequences of a strong earthquake that occurred on February 6 in Turkey, the state, the people of Azerbaijan have shown solidarity from the first minutes and extended their hand to help the fraternal people.
Declaring its solidarity with the Turkish people, the Republic Bank, in order to support the victims of the earthquake, transferred 2.2 million Turkish lires (200,000 AZN) to the Office for the Prevention and Elimination of the Consequences of Emergencies (AFAD) of Turkey.
“On behalf of the Bank of the Republic, we bring our condolences to families and relatives of those who died in this earthquake, to the entire Turkish state, we wish the victims a speedy recovery,” said Shakir Ragimov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Bank of the Bank.
