On Thursday, November 20, the volume of natural gas consumption in Azerbaijan increased by 2.696 million cubic meters compared to the previous day. This was announced by the head of the Central Dispatch Division and Control MODES on Azerigaz Rasim Akhmedov during the next promotion “Open doors”, conducted with media representatives.
According to him, 42,269 million cubic meters of gas were spent during the day. Of these, 24.961 million cubic meters accounted for Baku and Apsheron, the remaining 17,308 million cubic meters – to the regions.
Head of the Division of the Operational Services of the Association of 104 Khalid Shimishek, bringing to the attention of media representatives the latest statistics on the process of updating the natural gas limit in the country, noted that this work is fully completed. The head of the Legal Department of Vugar Avazov answered the question of media representatives about, under what circumstances to employees are permitted to approach the subscriber’s home. The head of the department, by contacting subscribers, said that the staff members had the right to approach only the meter, but at the invitation of the consumer himself in connection with any service can enter a private residential building or apartment. That is, according to the current legislation, employees “Azerigaz” cannot enter the house without the permission of a citizen.
The weekly action “Open doors” is broadcast live on a page on Facebook, which, along with media representatives, helps ordinary citizens find answers to their questions. Head of the Gasification and Development Department Teymur Jafarov explained issues addressed to citizens in connection with the gasification of settlements and new residential areas. According to the head of the department, in accordance with the program for 2022 it is planned to gasify about 110 settlements and new residential arrays.
