The Foreign Minister of Hungary Peter Siyyarto said that Hungary prepared the scenarios of a military emergency (emergency) to protect the Hungarians living in the west of Ukraine. He stated this in an interview with the Hungarian publication Index.
Siyyarto noted that the European Union should focus on the speedy peaceful completion of the military conflict of Russia and Ukraine. “In our country, scenarios of a military emergency are prepared … In our interests, so that the world is established in the east as soon as possible, because then we can avoid dangerous scenarios prepared to save and protect 150 thousand of the Hungarians living in Transcarpathia,”- He said.
According to him, Hungary has no disagreement with Ukraine, but the parties have “different interests.” He stated that Hungary is interested in staying in the military conflict of Russia and Ukraine.
