Denmark: “Coronavirus” “split”

Denmark’s health department made a decision from Thursday to consider Covid-19 a disease that does not require special measures, the same as flu or a cold, according to the press release of the department.

Such a decision was made in connection with a stable number of people hospitalized with Covid-19, a high percentage of immunization of the population, as well as the fact that the Omicron Curiant causes a less serious disease.

“If you feel sick, you need to stay at home, regardless of the assumptions, Covid is the flu or some other SARS,” the healthcare press release says.

The agency now recommends testing only when appropriate symptoms appear, risk group, or if it is associated directly with treatment. Also, there are no more insulation recommendations after a positive test on the Covid-19.
