The trial of the criminal case of the former head of the executive authority of the Akstafa district Nizameddina Guliyev and his deputy Ramiz Tatarov, arrested as a result of the operation conducted by the State Security Service. As reported by Haqqin.az, the process took place in the Ganja court in grave crimes chaired by Judge Mohammed Bagirov.
In the last meeting of the court, the accused was read by the sentence, according to which N. Guliev received 9 years in prison, his deputy Ramiz Tatars – 8 years and 6 months. The court decided to confiscate in favor of the state arrested by the consequence of the property obtained by criminal means.
Recall, according to the statement of the SGB, on the basis of the collected materials, reasonable suspicions of regular abuse of Nizamedeni Guliyev official authority arose. Thus, there were reasonable suspicions that N. Guliyev, through the deputy head of the Republic of Ramiz Tatarov, since May 2019, under various pretexts, the money out of the officials of the local executive bodies, as well as in demand under various pretexts of bribes in entrepreneurs. Along with this, suspicions appeared that N. Guliev, extorting budget funds from heads of healthcare, educational and other structures, assigned a certain part of public funds, salary maps of poor persons involved in public works.
N. Guliev, his deputy R.Tatarov and other persons were detained as suspects in the framework of the initiated criminal case. Guliyev was charged under articles 179.3.2 (assignment in large scale), 311.3 (obtaining a bribe in large scale), 308 (abuse of official authority) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
