Poland intends to purchase 116 former ABRAMS tanks from the United States, reports Polish Radio.
“Poland will buy the Army Army used by the ABRAMS tanks. We are talking about 116 copies,” the report said.
According to the radio, the first supply of tanks should begin in early 2023. It is noted that American equipment will make up for the shortcomings that arose after Poland handed over to Ukraine T-72.
