Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia called Danish diplomat due to shares in burning of Qur’an

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia presented a note of protest to a temporary attorney in Denmark’s affairs due to shares in the burning of the Qur’an in Copenhagen.

This is stated in the message of the Kingdom Foreign Ministry.

The report said that the representative of the embassy was called to the Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia, where he was handed a note of protest.

The Foreign Ministry called on Denmark authorities “to stop any actions that insult religious feelings and violate international law.”

On Tuesday, representatives of the Danish Patriots right -wing group in Copenhagen burned the Qur’an in front of the buildings of Embassies of Egypt and Turkey, and a day earlier at the Iraq embassy. A similar action was also held on July 21.
