Two officers PCAL (Commando Brigade) were shot dead during patrols in the southern part of the Jordan valley due to an error in identification. This is stated in publication on the Israel Defense Army page on Twitter, reports TASS.
“This night, two officers of the IDF were killed during patrols near the base in the area of the Jordan River Valley. Officers were incorrectly recognized and mistakenly killed by Fire Phal,” – the text says.
It is noted that the families of the dead are notified of what happened.
