The Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine believes that Russia is not ready for the second wave of mobilization and will delay it.
“They are preparing for the second wave of mobilization, but we believe that they will delay it because they did not overcome all the difficulties that they experienced during the first wave. They were not ready for such a large -scale mobilization, are not ready now”, now “, – said the representative of GUR Vadim Skibitsky in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, whose words are quoted by the press service of the GUR on the website of the department.
He noted that if Russia continues the new round of mobilization, it will suffer from the same problems that the previous wave exposed, including the lack of modern equipment in good working condition and a sufficient number of combat -ready officers who can teach a huge influx of unprepared people.
