Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey explained importance of cybersecurity

The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey Abdulkadir Uraloglla announced plans to conduct cybersecurity exercises in order to improve cooperation with the countries of the Turkic world.

“I want to emphasize that this is a teaching that will be held with the participation of representatives from friendly and fraternal countries will significantly increase our readiness for cyberosis,” said the Turkish minister.

According to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, the head of the department took part in an extraordinary meeting of ministers of information and communication technologies for organizing the Turkic states (OTG) in video conference mode.

At the meeting, such issues as: cybersecurity, electronic government website (E-Devlet), satellite communications and development of fiber-optic infrastructure.

“The number of mobile subscribers in Turkey exceeded 90 million, and the level of mobile communication coverage reached 100 percent. 90.6 million subscribers have broadband access. According to him, Türkiye also created its own national cybersecurity organization.

The number of teams operating during the coordination of the Turkish National Center for response to cyberincents in institutions and organizations of Turkey increased to 2150, and the number of specialists exceeded 6,800 people. In addition, we strengthened our strategic approach in this area, periodically publishing three national strategies and an action plan in the field of cybersecurity, ”the minister said.
