Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, taking part in the event on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the formation of the border troops of the National Security Service, announced the need to transfer all the borders of Armenia to the border guards, and return the army units to the places of constant deployment.
“We want all the borders of the Republic of Armenia without exception to be transferred to the control of the border troops … And this is where the logic of the Armed Forces is based when we are talking about the Academy of the World adopted by the Armenia Government,” Pashinyan said.
According to him, the world can be achieved not at any cost, but at the cost of the world itself. Pashinyan explained that conceptually a border troop, in general, are a symbol of the world, since the boundaries whose protection is assigned to them are usually considered peaceful boundaries. “Because it is assumed that the countries and states located in the direction of these borders have concluded an agreement on friendship or peace, and this is very important,” the Prime Minister of Armenia stated.
According to Pashinyan, “security problems facing our country are not only not resolved, but also continue to cause concern. All of us, primarily the country’s political leadership, should work to ensure peace and stability along the borders of our country. account, our strategic goal is to transfer all the borders of the Republic of Armenia under the protection of border guards so that they can fulfill their special functions – the protection of the border, which includes the fight against illegal migration, the fight against illegal crossing of the border, the fight against illegal activities, and the fight against illegal drug trafficking etc. “.
