Prime Minister of Moldova: Bucharest helps Chisinau confidently move along path of European integration

This is the Prime Minister of Moldova Dorin Republic said at a meeting with the Romanian colleague Marcity Cholak in Bucharest.

According to Moldipress, the interlocutors discussed economic cooperation between the two states, the theme of European integration of Moldova, as well as other topics of interest for bilateral relations between Chisinau and Bucharest.

The head of the Moldavian Cabinet of Ministers highly appreciated the support provided by Romania in all key areas of the development of Moldova.

Officials affected infrastructure projects implemented by joint efforts, as well as cooperation in the field of energy, emphasizing the main achievements in this area.

The parties noted the importance of mastering the economic potential with an emphasis on attracting investments and creating new jobs.

The heads of government of the two countries on Wednesday, March 27 take part in the second investment forum “Moldova – România: Capital Bridges”.

Dorin Republic noted that the event takes place “on a truly significant day for both shores of the Prut: 106th anniversary of the unification of Bessarabia with Romania”.

“We are united by our common past, the language we speak, and culture. And today we strengthen our bilateral ties, build new bridges between the business of the Republic of Moldova and foreign investors and emphasize the economic capabilities of both countries,” Richan said.

Prime Minister of Moldova will also take part in dinner organized by the royal family of Romania.
