The West is building up military assistance to Ukraine, said at a briefing the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation – the first deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Valery Gerasimov on Thursday, Russian media reports.
“The United States and its allies consistently increase the volume of military assistance to Kyiv to give a protracted nature conflict. The US, Great Britain, Poland and Romania make the most significant contribution to weapons,” he said.
At the same time, Gerasimov adding that the total foreign financial assistance to Ukraine amounted to almost $ 100 billion.
According to the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, from the beginning of the special operation the West put 4 aircraft, more than 30 helicopters, over 350 tanks, about 1 thousand military armored vehicles, at least 800 armored vehicles. Ukraine also received up to 700 artillery systems, 100 rocket lapsing systems, 130 thousand anti -tank weapons, over 5.3 thousand portable anti -aircraft missile systems and at least 5 thousand drones of various purposes.
