Samsung will present a smartphone protected by quantum cryptography

Samsung is preparing to submit a second generation of a Galaxy Quantum smartphone equipped with a chip using quantum communication encryption. Unpacking the device was published by South Korean insiders, RIA Novosti report.

South Korean exclusive is a smartphone with a 6.7-inch amoled screen. The display maintains a 120 Hz update frequency and is equipped with an embedded front camera,

Among other things, the smartphone will get the SNAPDRAGON 860 processor. A QRNG chip will work in a pair, providing user encryption using quantum cryptography. Galaxy Quantum will get the main 64 megapixel camera with the opt store, moisture protection and a capacity of 4500 mAh.

Interestingly, Network Informants SAMSUNG GALAXY QUANTUM 2 is called the base for Galaxy A82 – the flagship smartphone A-series. Whether the global A82 will get the encryption unit and when the smartphone will be presented not reported. Quantum premiere in South Korea will be held on April 23.
