Today, the participants played blitz: 9 rounds, each of which consisted of two parties with time control 3 minutes plus 2 seconds for each move.
Shahriyar Mammadyarov became the winner of the tournament. In the amount of the Rapid and Blitz competition, he scored 26 points out of 36 possible and took 1st place.
2nd place at Iranz Parham Magsudlu (24.5 points), 3rd-with Indian Santos Gujrati Visita (23.5).
Teimur Rajabov from 20.5 points is located in the 4th position.
In the women’s tournament, the fight went to the last round. The Georgians of Nana Dzagnidze and Mary Arabidze claimed 1st place. As a result, Arabidze won, scoring 24 points. Dzagagnidze has 23.5 points. In 3rd place is the Turkish woman Kyubra Odonly Oreni (20 points).
The best among ours was Gulnar Mammadov, whose assets have 19 points.
