Yeast-based vaccine: Poland began testing of Ukrainian vaccine from COVID

In Gdansk laboratories in Poland, they began to experience the Ukrainian vaccine from COVID-19 based on yeast, reports the TV channel “Ukraine 24”.

It is reported that the vaccine is planned to be produced in the form of tablets and spray. Vaccine developed by scientists of the Lviv Institute of Cell Biology. At the same time, scientists are engaged in developing a vaccine in the form of injection based on purified coronavirus proteins, it is already experiencing on mice.

Developers noted that the main focus will be made on a vaccine in the spray format, as it can show efficiency against different virus strains and it is much cheaper.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine creates his own vaccine from coronavirus, calling it “not like others.”
