Head of the World Health Organization’s Office in Azerbaijan Handea Harmandzhi stated that the cases of infection “Oomikron” -Semm COVID-19 in the country was not recorded.

Also Harmandzhi emphasized the need to vaccinate people, especially those who are in the risk group.

Omikron found in South Africa in November 2021. According to experts, this version of COVID-19 has 32 mutations. At the same time, WHO reported that they did not register any death from a new strain.
