According to the report, this process as a pilot project at the initial stage will be implemented in 12 administrative districts. This includes 11 districts of Baku and Absheron district. For example, information about the repair work carried out today in Narimanov region was sent in the form of SMS messages to the mobile numbers of subscribers living in this region. In addition, an SMS notification was sent to subscribers about the temporary cessation of gas supply due to work in the Shuvelan village of the Khazar region.
The software message also notes that the reason for stopping the gas supply is indicated in the text of the SMS notification. For example, a temporary shutdown may be due to a gas leak, repairs, an accident, or the connection of a new gas line to the network.
After analyzing the results of the pilot project, Azerigaz plans to send SMS notifications to subscribers throughout the country in the future by improving the software.
