Kazakhstan refused to conduct a military parade for Victory Day in Second World War

Kazakhstan does not plan to carry out a parade for the Victory Day this year, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic reported on Wednesday. The authorities of Kazakhstan in 2020-2021 canceled the parade due to the situation with Coronavirus.

“In 2022, the military parade dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 is not planned,” the report says. At the same time, it is not explained, with which this decision is connected.

At the same time, the press service notes, military-patriotic activities are planned in the country, a separate block of which is aimed at honored veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the Armed Forces of the Republic. In total, the Ministry of Defense intends to organize about 50 different events in all regions of the republic.
